Progress Post - Home Project

For my last home project, I wanted to create something reflecting my first Art IV piece to showcase my improvement. I was also looking to really experiment and go wild since I had a guaranteed 100, and I thought a grandiose story like Cloning would be suitable. For the figures in the middle ground, I was thinking of the exposition in animated shows and movies and how it's usually simplified and over-exaggerated in pose and style to convey complex lore more easily. I was also thinking a bit of propaganda art. I wanted that sort of glorified, story-like style to contrast with the two rendered portraits to convey passage of time and proximity to reality.
