It was neat to hear from an artist whose work I have seen around the city but never knew the source of. I'd never really thought of doing murals, but the public mural project Mr. Sananikone mentioned working on really piqued my interest. If I had a chance to put my art up somewhere public and leave my mark on Richmond, I'd be absolutely thrilled. His VisArts Center class also interested me. I made a figurine of one of my characters using an artist doll a while ago, but the clay wasn't very high-quality, so it's kind of falling apart. I think it'd be super cool if I could make more miniatures that are durable, and I'm sad that I fall out of the age-range for his classes. I might go for it on my own time if I have clay left over when I'm done with Project #5 (I bought clay to make the dishes and food pop more). His animation was also super neat and inspired me to try my hand at Procreate Dreams later that day only to realize that it wasn't a very good app. I wish there was a solid mobile animation app which I could add a backtrack to (I fervently hate Flipaclip, and normal Procreate doesn't have the option to add an mp3). I'll figure out how to hone all my inspiration at some point!
