Figure Drawings - Reflection

Figure drawing has never been my thing, but I found myself becoming more engrossed in it as we transitioned from gesture drawings that made my shoulder hurt to more finished pieces. Music helped more than any particular technique. I became entranced while something was playing through my headphones in the same way I do while making digital work at home. It made me realize how big of an impact music has on my creative process. I need music in order to come to better, more complex conclusions.
